About The Event

The ESSENCE Theatre presents:

KHOLSTOMER, THE HISTORY OF A HORSE.

A theatrical production inspired by the work of Leo Tolstoy.

After numerous successful performances around the world, it finally reached the Manhattan stage last April, where it received wide public acclaim.

And now, by popular demand, the theatre presents this production once again!

This is a completely original interpretation of the renowned story by the great classical writer, known to English-speaking audiences as The Strider — a powerful fusion of contemporary movement, original music, and elevated poetry woven into a single stage experience.
